Extracurriculars

My extracurricular experiences have shaped me just as much as my academic journey. Through involvement in clubs, sports, volunteer work, and leadership roles, I've developed skills like teamwork, time management, and creative problem-solving. These activities reflect my passions, values, and drive to grow both as a student and as a leader in my community. Each experience has helped prepare me for the challenges and opportunities of college life.

Willow Park Dance Academy

I have been actively involved in dance for the past 15 years, training and performing in ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop. I auditioned and performed with the Moscow Ballet in The Nutcracker for five years and participated in the summer dance intensive at DeSales University, further developing my technique and performance skills. Through dance, I have cultivated discipline, creativity, and a strong work ethic, while learning to collaborate with peers and express myself through movement. Performing in recitals, competitions, and professional productions has strengthened my confidence and taught me the value of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork—skills that extend beyond the studio and into all areas of my life.

Let's Build Construction Camp

I have participated in the Lehigh Valley Let’s Build Construction Camp for Girls, a hands-on annual program designed to introduce young women to construction, design, and STEM careers. Through this experience, I developed practical skills, gained confidence in a traditionally male-dominated field, and discovered a passion for mentoring. I plan to continue my involvement as a camp counselor and mentor in the future, helping inspire the next generation of girls to explore careers in construction and design.

SADD

I have been an active member of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), where I have contributed to promoting safe and responsible choices among my peers. Through organizing events, participating in awareness campaigns, and collaborating with fellow members, I have developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. My involvement in SADD has strengthened my commitment to making a positive impact in my school and community while encouraging others to make thoughtful and responsible decisions.

Skiing

I have been an avid skier since the age of six, developing both skill and confidence on the slopes over the years. Skiing has taught me perseverance, focus, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions, all while fueling my love for the outdoors. Whether tackling challenging runs or enjoying time on the mountain with family and friends, skiing has become one of my favorite ways to stay active, adventurous, and connected to nature.

Photography

I have a strong interest in photography, having taken classes in Digital Photography and Photoshop Essentials to develop both my technical and creative skills. I enjoy capturing moments, experimenting with composition and lighting, and using photo editing to bring my artistic vision to life. Photography allows me to combine creativity with attention to detail, and it has become a meaningful way for me to express myself and explore the world around me.

Travel

I have a passion for travel and make it a point to take a trip each year with my mother to explore new and exciting destinations. Some of my favorite trips have included experiencing the spooky charm of Salem, Massachusetts at Halloween, discovering the beauty of Mackinac Island, and immersing myself in music history at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Traveling allows me to learn about different cultures, gain new perspectives, and create lasting memories while fueling my curiosity and sense of adventure.
